OBGYN Services to Start at Northville
The U-M Northville Health Center brings great ObGyn care closer to home. Opening July 15, our newest building will offer primary and specialty care for the whole family.
Schedules are open and appointments can be scheduled now. We are happy to see new patients as well as established patients who find Northville more convenient. Patients can be scheduled through existing offices (vonVoigtlander ObGyn Clinic, Center for Reproductive Medicine, Livonia Center for Specialty Care, etc). If any question about where to call, you can always call 1-800-211-8181.
The services we will be offering outside Ann Arbor for the first time include:
- MFM – Dr. Cosmas Van De Ven and his partners on a rotating basis for consultations
- REI – Drs. Michael Lanham and John Randolph
- Urogyn – Drs. Mitchell Berger and Megan Schimpf
- MIS – Drs. Bethany Skinner and Courtney Lim
In addition, our Obstetrics and Gynecology colleagues who are presently at the Livonia Center for Specialty Care will be relocating their practice to Northville Health Center in the Children and Women’s area. This includes:
- Dr. Samar Hassouneh, Assistant Medical Director for the Children’s and Women’s Suite
- Dr. Lauren Zoschnick
- Dr. Anita Malone
In our new facilities we’ll be able to offer many of the services we know patients want, all in a convenient location:
- Multichannel urodynamics
- Ultrasound - machines available for provider use and Radiology services as well
- Colposcopy and LEEP equipment
- Non-stress tests
Karen Noe, RN, has accepted the position for the UroGyn, MIS, and MFM specialty services at Northville. Having “one of our own” supporting our services will be a great opportunity to meld all the wonderful care we already provide and assure that same level of care at our new site. We are also fortunate to have had the opportunity to train and work with our new MAs already in vonVoigtlander, so we should be ready to hit the ground running on July 15.
Northville Health Center is located on a new development at 7 Mile and Haggerty (39901 Traditions Drive, Northville, MI 48168). It includes 100,000 square feet of clinical, diagnostic and operational space spread over two stories with a dedicated women’s and children’s waiting area. There will also be meeting space to accommodate large community gatherings, and the option of watching Grand Rounds remotely on a screen there is being investigated. All ObGyn appointments will be on the second floor, which is accessed via stairs or an elevator. There is free, street-level parking in in large lots on both sides of the building.
